Maria Svensson

About the class

Maria will be teaching the improvisation classes throughout the month of February and the focus will be on noticing, and specifically noticing our pleasures, which will inform our learning about ourselves as improvisers and artists. Maria will offer a safe space for exploration and investigation into various ways of working with improvisation drawing from her most recent experience working with Performance Improvisers Andrew Morrish and Peter Trotman during the improvisation festival VARIA2019 in Gothenburg, Sweden. During the classes we will be working with different movement tasks using sensation, voice, language and phrasing which will inform and support us to perform various length solos.

These classes are open to all levels and abilities interested in improvisation. Please wear comfortable clothing and preferably bring a notebook and pen.
