Calling all Dance professionals and Dance and Movement Artists, as well as, Theatre Makers, and Community Members interested in the Venue. 

On the first Friday of each month The Board and Executive of Firkin Crane invite you to a Board facilitated meeting to look at proposed sectoral supports and community engagements.

General Update from CEO/ Firkin Crane supports for artists 

(A) Report on Funding Clinic and The Jack Lynch House as a POD initiative.

(B) A tax session for self-employed artists.


Report on ReFramed; 5 Bursaries at €1000 each, to support Cork based professional dance artists to develop their practice in the changing environment of Covid-19.

  • A colloquium where the 5 artists are facilitated by Firkin Crane to discuss findings.
  • The successful candidates were Rachel Ní Bhraonáin from Waterford and Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín, Sara Hernandez, Cormac Mohally and Natasha Bourke from Cork.
