A Dance Dissection – exploring the layers of our dancing selves
This two-hour zoom workshop invites professional dancers to explore specific aspects of their movement patterning. We each have a personal style, honed over years of training and practice. This workshop asks dancers to take time to look at the layers of influence and training that created this personal movement fingerprint, and examine some of these layers one by one. By reviewing these influences on how we move, dancers can open up new choices and new pathways within their moving bodies.
We will use whatever space we have to do this, but ask that we have a yoga mat space as the minimum. Please have a notebook and pen handy.
