MOSAIC IN MOTION
Artist Call Out
As part of Helga Deasy’s Programme as Cork City Dance Artist in Residence at the Firkin Crane we are delighted to invite applicants for artist presentations in the Mosaic in Motion event on 1st October 2021.
Mosaic in Motion celebrates dance as a poetic expression of being alive and human.
We are interested in receiving proposals for dance performances, works-in-progress, or research presentations between 10 and 20 minutes in duration. The work can involve other disciplines as long as dance and movement is the main focus.
The selected artists will be given a stipend of €250, studio access between the 16th – 27th of August 2021, and documentation of their work.
The pieces will be presented at the Firkin Crane with limited technical support. The evolving situation of Covid-19 will require flexibility and works that are suitable to adaptation. If restrictions prevent a live performance we will work with the artists to find an alternative mode of presentation where possible.
Please use the application form here to submit your expression of interest and begin the conversation. The deadline is Friday, June 11th 2021.
If you have any questions or difficulties uploading your files please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
