The Performers Academy is one of Corks premier performing arts schools. With strong emphasis on drama and musical theatre, the school was founded by former west end performer, Irene Warren FLCM LLCM ALCM TD in 2007.
The students perform in many productions throughout the year, with many students performing in ‘The Cork Opera Houses’ panto productions. The students participate in Feis Maitiu and take drama exams with LAMDA. The Performance Academy students all perform in our annual Christmas production in Firkin Crane and in our summer production at the Cork Opera House
The school holds classes in Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama under the helm of artistic director Irene Warren and Director of Dance, Dane O Sullivan .
The Performers Academy has thrived on its ethos of nurturing all talents in a fun and professional way.
Irene Warren hosts the highly popular and renowned 2 week Theatrix Summer School in the Firkin Crane in July with a host of professional teachers from Cork and the West End
