Application/Selection Process

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

All proposals must be submitted in the appropriate application form and should include:

- contact details (including email address) of applicant;
- a curriculum vitae / resume for each artist involved;
- Samples of previous work (e.g. video, CD-ROM in Mac format, photographs, printed text);
- no more than 200 words on the aims and objectives of the proposed residency.

(Please note selection criteria).

To ensure the safe return of material, please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope with your proposal.

Alternatively, the Firkin Crane would be delighted to accept this material for the purposes of its archive/library.

HOW ARTISTS ARE CHOSEN

Each applicant's proposal will be considered by an independent panel with three to five members. Individuals on the panel may vary from year to year but will always include at least one regional and one national dance practitioner and one artist from another artform. The panel will work in association with the Firkin Crane.
