Benefits
The Firkin Crane will work in partnership with each artist in tailoring the residency to the needs of the project, subject to the resources available. The duration of residencies is dependent on the requirements of the individual proposal.The Firkin Crane will provide:
- Studio space : (residency times will depend on availability of studio space at any given time, between Monday and Friday, and within the working hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm)
- A wide range of audio-visual equipment (training provided where necessary) as well as the usual stage technical equipment
- Technical support and training
- Consultancy with management regarding areas of logistical, practical and / or creative solutions
- Access to the Firkin Crane’s growing video and film archive/library
- Access to administrative facilities for the purposes of the residency (i.e. computer, internet and telephone, photocopying)
- Artistic Liaison
- Accommodation at Jack Lynch House (where appropriate) or support in securing alternative accommodation
