Arts Attendance in Ireland: Attendance by artform

Arts Audiences has published the latest audience report drawn from the Target Group Index. This report looks at attendance by artform and area. See http://artsaudiences.ie/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Arts-Attendance-in-Ireland-final-November-2010.pdf

The report includes reference to participation figures (1.2 million people report they regularly do artistic or creative activities). Further analysis will be carried out on participation in the coming months but the survey covers attendance at:
- Any performance in a theatre ( could be amateur performance, music etc)
- Plays
- Opera
- Ballet
- Contemporary Dance
- Classical music concerts and recitals
- Folk concerts
- Jazz concerts and performances
- Art galleries and exhibitions
