The show is written and performed by actor/comedian Ger Carey and is based on experiences and knowledge gained from fifteen years of working in television, film and the media. The show looks at how film first came to be used to manipulate people in the early part of the last century and evolved into the highly sophisticated force it is today. This is all achieved through Ger's unique blend of comedy and experience.

The show is 90 minutes long. It begins at 11.30am with a lunch time finish at 1pm. there second performance time is 2pm to 3.30pm. There are no intervals.

The Armed Eye Film Company is an independent film and theatre production company established in Carlow in 1998 by Ger Carey. The key aim of the company is to produce film, theatre and educational workshops independently.
