Circus Skills

Tickets: €150/100 Devising workshop focused on street theatre.

Established as training techniques in cross-disciplines such as theatre and dance in the U.S.: 'Viewpoints and Composition', offer a way to articulate your stage work, break boundaries and take possession of the elements of space and time:

Viewpoints is group improvisation that's about letting go of the 'mental'. The group learns a common vocabulary of how to play with the elements of space and time, then improvises with these to create spontaneous physical theatre/choreography. The relationship to the audience is essential and constantly at play in the work.

Composition is the art of putting together a performance. Jumping off from the Viewpoints improvs, Composition provides techniques, recipes, and structures for creating pieces that bring out the artists' personal, quirky universe so they can make an artistic, unique performance.
