Tania Soubry & Geraldine Vessiere
Tania Soubry studied at SEAD and LABAN. She was a 2002 dance web participant and did a placement with the Trisha Brown Dance Company. From 2007-2008 she danced with EDge, working, amongst others, with Filip Van Huffel and Rosemary Butcher. Since 2003 she has been creating and performing her own work, as well working within collaborations and for other choreographers. In 2009 she finished her MA at The Place, consisting of her adaptation of the solo I’ll crane for you, choreographed by Deborah Hay.
Géraldine Vessière, scriptwriter/director, filmed and documented Tania’s practice, adaptation and performances of this solo, which initiated the idea for the dance film project entitled Face to face.
