The Firkin Crane

No Frontiers

No Frontiers facilitates the integration of numerous nationalities and promotes anti-discrimination, using dance and performance, merging numerous styles and techniques, within Cork’s ever-growing multicultural community, providing quality artistic education and performances: merging numerous styles and techniques of dance: ballet, Dunham, Graham, Horton, Cunningham, release technique, improvisation, contact, East and West African, bellydance, breakdancing and freestyle Hip-Hop.

The company integrates amateur and professional dancers and performers, from many nations and cultures, practice singing, beat-boxing, acrobatics, trapeze, Capoera, video work, body painting, theatre and comedy improvisation and promotes anti-racism in a pro-active, preventative manner, through involvement of numerous cultures within the group and through public performances that demonstrate the advantages of an open-minded society.

"The Firkin Crane has helped by providing safe, purpose built space for dance practice at reasonable rates, access for our members to workshops and performances in the centre; contact and interaction with other users of the studios and theatre; advice and support for our constant development and quest for excellence."
