The Firkin Crane

Hakuna Matata

African style movement and dance
Michaela (from Germany) and Ali (from East Africa), have been working together for the last two years and formed Hakuna Matata, based in Cork, to combine incredible gymnastics and dance, often defying belief but guaranteeing good humour.

Normally, they work as a 2-person show but can grow to a group of 5 acrobats if required. Enjoyed by both children and adults alike, the group perform mind-boggling manoeuvers and unbelievable acrobatics with broad grins. The audience can witness the most amazing physical feats, all performed with joy and abandon. Acrobatics, contortion, juggling, manipulation: this show is a non-stop roller coaster of skill from beginning to end. With their infectious smiles and sense of fun, these performers enthrall everyone, young and old alike.
